We have not tried to wash this dog cover and will update the review once we test this portion out. So far, the cover has been great, sturdy and it's great that it covers the sides/door. The only down side I have with all of these products is that they are polyester, which we all know are bad for the environment. Hopefully the material type will change. Overall, great buy!

The warranty portion is a bit confusing (see below):

Pros:

• Easy to install.
• Covers the sides.
• Has the front shield for the dog.
• Machine washable (not tested yet).

Cons:

• Polyester material which is bad for the environment.
